I hear with any Blu Ray player (including the PS3) you can get any Sony Blu Ray disc and go to the main menu. hit 7669 and enter on the remote and it'll take you to the hidden test patterns on the disc. My question is; Can this be done with game controll pad?

Press triangle during a movie on the PS3, and it gives you options such as audio and video settings. There are also numbers 0-9 that you can input from this screen. Let me know if it works on any of your blu-rays (I don't have any yet). This test pattern thing sounds sweet.

I, too, can confirm it. It's nothing special though. Anyone who has worked in video production has seen these screens before (like color bars, black-to-white screen etc.). These are the types of things I would blank with VOBB on a regular DVD. lol

pressing triangle brings up the menu options for the dvd its not a hidden thing..
