Click on the PSP GAME folder (on your computer) until you get to a file called "(the game's name).iso" (for example, "The Simpsons Game.iso). Copy that to the ISO folder in the root of yoru PSP. If it's not there, make one. Make sure it's in CAPS.

All this is correct if you don't have a Sony Official Firmware...what is your firmware, actually?

There's the possibility that the WinRar file is the ISO.
Try placing the un-extracted file into X:/ISO. It should work.

If he said there's a PSP GAME fodler then obviously the WinRAR file isn't the ISO!

Yeah and the ISO is the last file after the PSP GAME folder. SO he has to find the file called X.iso (X=the game's name)

Huh? I could play my WinRar file, and when I extracted the same file, it had a GAME folder in it.
So I Rared it back together and played as an ISO...

if you have a PSP GAME folder and a UMD DATA.BIN file those are the contents of the iso,you can generate a iso with umdgen

start umdgen drag and drop the PSP GAME folder and a UMD DATA.BIN file to where it says "no items to show" then save as a iso or cso (compressed iso)

Try placing the actual WinRar file into your /ISO folder. It should work.

@reyez

if you have a file with .iso extension but with a rar symbol it's because you have winrar associated with isos

to make sure that you dont have winrar associated with isos

start winrar click options ,settings, integration, untick the iso tab
