360 downloads slow!!!!!!!! Beware!!!!

Hi all,
I just thought I would ask if anyone else is having the same problem. After joining a download site who shall remain nameless (not P2P)(but HTTP) I was enjoying downloads of 1200Kbs all day every day. Now bearing in mind I pay for unlimited download usage with bt total broadband in the uk, I am now finding that between midday and midnight they are throttling my speed on p2p and HTTP!! to just 150Kbs!! The only time I get full speed is now between 9am and 12 midday. This aint on. Anyone else experienced this??????

120kbps is still amazing, dont be greedy. 1200kbps is a crime lol. I get like 50 max.

unlimited downloads doesnt mean that always unlimited, you still have to stick to the fair useage policy so if they think you are using too much they will throttle it in peak times. I had the same with BT so switched.

120 isnt all that fast, for a 360 game i average around 300-800. if your only getting 50 kbps i would mess around with your router settings to boost it up by forwarding the ports.

is that linking people to a site where you can get downloads is against forum rules, and therfor you may be getting banned.

In this case it's allowed stiemy as there are no direct links to the files themselves.

actually LOCOENG i did not get too far into it due to the fact that you have to sign up. But they do have a forum section and that section has a download section for games, roms, software and so on. Just like a Warez site would have which is also done in a forum format rather than your standard torrent style.
