Yellow Dog Linux?

I need a guide to install yellow dog linux for a standered definition display (480i) (I dont have a hd tv)

While on YDL what kind of format is readable (fat32, plug and play)?

Also, YDL may not be your best option, I'd go with ubuntu but there are tons of other distributions that you should look into.

Whats the difference between Yellow Dog Linux and ubuntu.
I heard its user freindly, but is there anthing ydl can do that ubuntu cant (whats the best os and why)

Ubuntu is easier for windows users to pick up and use.

Also after i install a os can i delete it to install another one?
