you always have the chance of bricking when you mess with flash0. that's why it's recommended to copy EVERYTHING from flash0 before doing anything. so if you semi-brick, you just replace everything back.

ps2: v7 scph-39001 - independence exploit - hdloader 0.8c - maxtor 300gb hdd
(+[__]%) psp slim ta-085v1: 6.60 PRO B10
wii (powered by bootmii/priiloader): 4.1u - d2x v10beta53-alt (base 56) - configurable usb loader v70r51/devolution r188 - wd scorpio black 7200rpm 320gig w/ ams venus ds2 enclosure

got a whole lot more to list . . .

OK thanks I'll try it immediately cause there is this theme I want on to my psp but I have no space on it before I have 3.40 OE-A CFW and I use Flash Agent to free some space but just as I said it doesn't work on 3.52 M33-4

I have on more question how do you properly backup the flash0 files of 3.71?

Before I have 3.71 and it became full bricked because of flash0..I don't knowhow to back it up when I'm replacing my gameboot.pmf it doesn't show up I already showed hidden icons and searched it but the gameboot.pmf doesn't show up and when I try to paste my custom gameboot it syays do you want to overwrite ?

Oh one more thing once you have 3.71 CFW you can no longer customize your PSP through flash0? I mean use your current themes like for 3.40 or 3.52??

Did you mean by this phrase I found in your sig....

Here's how to back the 3.71M33 flash files properly:
The correct way to backup 3.71 M33/M33-2/M33-3 files is by enabling flash0 via Recovery Menu (Don't flash your XMB via VSH menu or you will semi-brick).

That if I use toggle usb from the XMB Menu (by pressing select) I will get semi brick?if I back my flash0 files from that usb?

Why ?
Thanks in advanced
:)

it is because that 3.71M33-2 has some bugs in it n if you do that,it will cause a semi-brick or a full brick due to flash1 corruption.but the bug was fixed in 3.71M33-3.although so,i highly recommend you to flash your flash0 through recovery menu.

n if you follow the method to backup your flash0 by larrylje you should be fine.

Yeah my friends and family tell me that 3.71 is still buggy but I insisted and what I got is a full bricked PSP...(HOW?? because I think you could still use the themes on earlier CFW...and I put them in the flash folder and I got a full brick...)

I have plans on upgrading to 3.71 but I think I'll wait forit to becaome stable FW or a3.72 or something like that...

Thnkas for your answer I really appreciate it...

SO...

Deleting the dic folder in the flash0 won't brick my PSP..?

And it will give me lots of free space ?

Is that right?
