ok first great site here here is my problem i have a freshly flashed 360 and was gonna try and back up my daughters games i have a memorex mrx-53ol dual layer burner now what do i need to back it up is there a flash for this drive or do i need something else my head is spinning trying to read all the stuff some say you need a few programs others say there are 1 step programs that do it all and others say you need certain brands or to flash yours so im not sure what way to go is there one burner that will do it all or can mine be flashed to work thanks

if you wanna take the data off an original easiest way is with a SH-162C flashed by Kreon

ut you can also do it with WXripper but that is a lil harder

thanks.If i get that drive will my memorex dual layer be able to write the backups after i extract with the SH-162C

your memorex drive should be able to burn the iso once you get the samsung. just make sure to get the most updated firmware for the memorex drive, use good quality dl media (like Verbatim), and start with burning at 2.4x (you can gradually try faster speeds if you want, but at least start at 2.4x to set a baseline of what works for your drive). i have an old school NEC and it works perfectly.
