problem burning xbox 360 games

have been using imgburn to burn all my 360 games for a while, recently i have been getting an error message that comes up when a disc is inserted ready to burn the iso, if i cancel the message it will continue to burn the image however none of the discs produced work.
have tried burning iso at slower speeds.
have updated dvd drive firmware and still doesn't work, have wasted 9 discs now trying to get this thing to work.
have used different games none of which are ntsc and still no luck

please help

The above is exactly my first thought after reading your post. How can anyone help you if you do not post exactly what error message you are getting. get the eror message, go to Google and put it into a search and chances are you will find your answer.

would like to point out again that i have just started getting these messages after over 20 successful burns and that it is not speed or the iso that is the problem.

ok then, some questions
1. are you using the same media?
2. Have you added anything to your PC between it working and not working?
3. Have you tried using a lens cleaner disc?

This problem is caused most often by bad media being used. If you Google it you can find all kinds of forums that have addressed it but you may find more answers then you need. But worth reading i guess.

2. i think no but i am not 100%, i am also recieving this message on two different computers with two different dvd burners, same message.
3. no, as above i have recieved this message on multiple pc's. will try this though.

i think that the issue may be software orientated, but i am still unsure, the burners both work for cds still haven't tried burning other dvds though.
