I know that this question has to have been asked a hundred times but here goes: Where can I find a working GBA emulator for my PSP v3.52? Its the old fat one. Ive tried three emu's already and none of them work. I get that same old error message. "Game could not be started. (Random Numbers)" Is this even possible to find?

are you on official 3.52 or 3.52 m33? official firmwares CANNOT play homebrews.

only way to get custom firmware from 3.51 or higher is with pandora's battery. no other exceptions; pandora's is the ONLY way.

pandora's. no other way. you can either downgrade to 1.50 or to 3.71 m33-2 with pandora's battery and universal unbricker v3 memory stick.

Sounds to me like im getting into more than I wanted. I just wanted to play Pokemon on my psp? Is that too much to ask?
Seriously though, I have no idea how to do any of that stuff. Is it complicated?

the easy way. it's not complicated, but it's the stuff that you need. you need to use a psp that already has custom firmware to make pandora's battery.

the hard way. only to be done by professionals, as it involves opening the psp battery and removing a pin. (will have to solder the pin back if you want to use it as normal battery)

the costly way. either send your battery and memory stick to a member and have them make it into pandora's battery/magic memory stick, or buy a premade set from ebay.

Sounds like too much for me.
Is there any other way to play GBA games?
like gpsp says it works for v1.5. is that homebrew firmware or official?

it's official 1.50 firmware, but it has a patch that allows homebrew to be played. but you can't play the latest games that require higher firmware.

then there was devhook and HEND. allows to be on official firmware and play homebrews. only thing is that devhook can only go up to 3.11, therefore not being able to play newer games with higher firmwares.

now comes custom firmware. allows all homebrews to be played (fats only) and play the latest games, since it uses the latest firmwares.

The only things you can run on your PSP are portals.
