everyone please, ur help will be gladly appreciated...
i have this psp. its firmware is 3.10 OE.. it was already modified by my friend and to tell you frankly i dont have any idea on what its original firmware was neither its "board" something.. is there anyway where i can modify it to a later firware of 3.40 OE? coz as what ive read here in the forum, majority suggest a 3.4 OE firmware.. please help me...

you can't go from any OE firmware to 3.71m33 ,first you need to install 3.52m33 then you need to install update 4 to have 3.52m33-4,only then you can go to 3.71 m33

i have a 4gb mem card does it matter?? ive read once that u shud have a mem card less than 4gb b4 changing a firmware?

thanx luffy!!! ur the man! my psp now has a 3.40oe firmware!! thanx a lot!! do i have a good firmware? or wud you suggest to change it to 3.71 m33?? which one is better?

most of the new psp games require a higher firmware to run and won't work with 3.40 OE

I have been on 3.10 OE-A, 3.40 OE-A, 3.52 m33-4 and now on 3.71 m33-3 I have had no problems so far with 3.71m33-3, so its a good go for it. good lukc!
