I'm a new PSP noob. Purchased used w/ 1.5 that I have upgraded to play store bought games- currently at 2.81. I need to update to 3.71 and am getting the message "system confiruration seems to be incorrect...update cannot be completed." I've done a search and prior threads seem to apply to downgrading issues or not to my specific situation. any thoughts how get this moving? thx

Don't upgrade or you're dead.
You've upgraded to official firmware.
Downgrade your PSP to 1.50 then upgrade straight to 3.52M33-4 then 3.71M33-3.
