Cannot get psp to write flash files upon last reboot of psp, tried 3.52m33 update and updating psp firmware from 1.50 to 2.0! tried pandoras battery trick and other custom firmware updates, writes them fine, its when it comes to applying them the problem happens, just goes back to main psp screen without applying the firmware?
Have had old version of devhook( UI v1.1.1.exe)on and worked ok with older games, but not the new ones,do you think this may have caused the problem? Or do you now of any software that might solve the problem,i know one thing for sure my little lad is not going to be to impressed if i have bricked his pride and joy!

when you run m33 creator or other custom firmware it creates the flash files to be written(i.e when you run m33 update) upon reboot of your psp, this is were the problem happens, instead of flashing the psp it just goes back to the main psp screen!

OK, since you're in 1.50, run the Permanent Patcher(or w.e.) then run the M33CREATOR. Once it boots back into the XMB, run the M33UPDATE. Once that's done, update your firmware to 3.52M33-4 by D/Ling the M33Update4 then place the M33Update4 folder into the GAME folder then run it on XMB. Then you can stop there or upgrade to 3.71M33-3.

run the kxploitpatcher, so the psp can run homebrew. then go to dl.qj.net and download chilly willy keycleaner. let it fix any corrupted keys. once done, then try the m33creator again.

I helped this guy in PM for hours the other day and nothing I suggested worked for him. Its an odd problem that I have no clue how to overcome.
Tried installing 3.52 M33, 3.40 OE-A, and it would just reboot back to XMB after starting the update.
Tried normal Pandora 1.50, Universal Unbricker V3 but the menus wouldn't come up for him to recover (Even tried pressing the brightness button).
Even had him try Chilly WIllys Key Cleaner and nothing worked for the guy.
Don't know if its a user issue or a hardware/software issue.
At first i thought it was a battery issue. The update would reset because the battery wasn't charged enough. But he said it was at 85% plus I had him try 3.40 OE-A and disabled the battery level requirement and it still reboot after starting it.

Naw it isn't nothing from Sony. I probably could figure it out if I had it in front of me. Its just hard at times to figure things out when it isn't in front of you.
