After 3 Batches, Eternal Symphonia will not load as a backup.

I'm burned a backup of Eternal Symphonia three times (two different releases), and everytime I load it, it shows the Bandai/Namco screen, then just freezes white! Is this a problem with the iso. stealth, or the read speed. I currently am using my Benq drive at the read speed of 8x (instead of 12x...though now i have my doubts!) Does anyuone know what the problem is (like the disk reading speed, or a bad iso?)
I hate wasting perfectly good Verbatim! Please help!

It might be the read speed , give the console a second and see if it boots from the freeze

Thanks for your reply, but it still freezes completely :(. It doesn't make much sense (at least in the usual way.) If it wasn't a valid backup, it wouldn't load at all -- however I heard rumors that if you don't use the fastest speed, it will hand on the title menu. I just need confirmation on this glitch, so I don't bother burning anymore until I re-flsh my drive with 12x speed...I just hope it doesn't damage the drive.

try burning at 2.4-4x
also try poppin the game in and out a couple of times.

Works on a BENQ here flashed with 1.1 (12x) and burnt to Verbatim DVD+R DL at 4x with IMGBurn.

Thanks for all the feedback. I'm pretty sure it's because I used the 8X read speed option over the fast (12X) one. I have a similar problem with Assassin's Creed, though that one eventually works after ejecting it, or just waiting a long time for it to load after the dashboard has recognized it.
So, I'm guessing the solution has to be choosing the "fast" speed during the firmware flash (I was originally going to use 12X, because I heard about problems that came from slower read speeds, but 8X seemed fast enough!)
Googoomuk, are you using 12X speed? Because if you are, then my theory goes out the window.

I burned at 2.4 and 4x. The game still freezes right after the Bandai screen. I can hear the dvd drive stop reading the disc. very strange.

That's kind of what happened to me -- the xbox 360 would just freeze, and you would have to turn it off (maybe even "re-connect" your controller(s), but I highly suspect it's the read speed of the drive that causes this glitch. When you flashed your drive, did you choose slow or fast (or 2X, 4X, 8x, or 12X)? I'm pretty sure if you didn't choose fast or 12X for the speed, the drive reads the DL DVD media, then, it will freeze, or cause glitches.
Unfortuneatley, or fortunatly, there is a new xbox dashboard uupdate on the 5th that rocks! I'm not sure how fast the ixtreme team will release a new firmware (if needed), after all the bans on Xbox live. Then, the simple solution to this problem will be to select the 12X speed when you re-flash your dvd drive. I guess I'll be waiting a while to play this game...
