Very good deal. The cheapest everyday price I have found is at Sams Club, a 50 pack for $64, not available online though which sux.

I got mine on eBay. Search for Verbatim DVD DL. It's cheaper there. Don't mess with rebates -- that's how you get spam in your email and telemarketers calling you with all their crap.

Dude, thats why you use a disposable e-mail address and incorrect phone number. E-bay has a 50 pack for at least $75, a ripoff when you can buy cheaper elsewhere.

You do have to be careful on eBay as many people sell fake media. I'm not saying everyone does, but there is a lot on there.

That is not quite true. I have done many rebates over my life. And although i prefer a sale price rather than a mail in rebate they do cut down your end price. And you are more likely to get spam from the company that you actually bought the product from (who wants your return business) then anyone else. Not to mention the fact that i never buy media from places like Ebay that do not guarantee anything to be authentic. Plus, any good service provider these days has a spam filter on your inbox, so why worry about what you don't even see.
your information is already out there for the spammers to get from hundreds of other things that you have or will do over your life. the only way they could get them from rebates is if the company states on them that they can pass on your information. plus in my state there is a "do not call" list. So i never get spam calls.

Guys, do you know the percentage of rebates that never get refunded? You'd be surprised. It takes them many months to process your rebate. A human being will forget about that rebate by then.
As for providing fake address and phone on rebate form -- it says right there in a small print that your rebate may be voided if you do that. So think about that.
Without really starting a war of words, I'm gonna tell you that I bought a 20 pack of Verbatim DVD+R DL's for $29.99 + S&H on eBay. I burned about 5 games so far and all of them are reading 100%. I agree that it's a risk about buying on eBay -- you need to know your suppliers. But the topic here is about saving money, right?

Dude, of course I wouldn't use a fake mailing mailing address for a rebate or else I would never receive it, mean a fake phone number so they wouldn't telemarket you (they don't call to verify your phone number before sending out the rebates) and a fake E-MAIL address so they wouldn't spam you.

With all due respect, nki00, you seem kinda paranoid about junk mail, you're gonna receive it whether you fill out a rebate form or not. Do what I did, take your name off the national direct mail list and it will help.

If you look around, you can find good deals on eBay from time to time. No one is against eBay... you just got to be careful.
Really though, for $29.99 + s&h, I would have just bought them from Best Buy. When they have them on sale, they go for $29.99. Of course, if you don't have a local BB or need the discs right now, that's another story.
