Backlight keeps switching off

My backlight keeps switching off every few seconds and I need to press the backlight button to get it back on again.

It's been doing this since 3.51 M33 and I've just updated to 3.71M33-4 and it's still doing it - help, my PSP is useless as it is.

the psps works fine - the backlight just keeps switching off.

The only time it doesn't switch off is when the HOLD is on - but that renders all the other buttons useless.

It could be a keys issue so try Chilly Willy's Key Cleaner which you can get HERE.

Download version 1.4 and follow the read me file.

I tried that and it did fix some broken keys, however it didn't solve my backlight problem.

I've figured out that it only starts doing it when you press the SELECT button, and won't stop until I restart the PSP.

I can't edit my last post but the button with the little note on it has the same effect as the SELECT.
