Should I update the Kreon v.80 to 1.0 for my Samsung SH-D163A?

Hey, I bought a Kreon v.80 Samsung SH-D163A DVD Xbox 360 Backup SATA off E-bay and was wondering, should I update the Kreon to v 1.0? Or should I just leave it as is? Thanks!!

I'm hearing that there are certain FW's for the Certain Drives. You can go on xbins to get the FW for the right drive! I just got v1.0 for my SH-D162C Drive, so when it comes in I can flash it!

Thanks Dav!! I'm getting my drive today so I won't upgrade it unless it won't copy the games. Right man, I got it from xbinx, the updated firmware.

I just checked on the xbins chat, and the status for live says that it is safe once again, just be careful with bad backups!

Persoannly i have not updated the firmware at all on my SH-D163A drive since i got it about March of this year. Last time i used it still no problems. I say only update if there is a problem. Don't fix what isn't broken.
