Need help getting ready 4 Xbox Live.

First of Just want to say Thank You for even reading this and trying to help. The last xbox i owned wasn't moded and i had a Xbox Live account. I loved playing MotoGP and Ghost Recon. Sadly it was stolen from my house about 8 months ago. That stills hurts i'll get u, I know your out there u AhhhhhhHHHH. Sorry about that even now it still pisses me off. But 6 months ago i bought another xbox got into the whole xbox moding scene and liked it. The other day i got another Xbox live starter kit and i can't wait to go Live. I know most of the things i need to do, but i want to make sure i don't mess up down the road and get banned :(. So if you guys can help me with this project i'll hug u all. So lets start!

I got X2.2pro working great, never had a problem with it. Also i Have a 120 gig HDD that is NOT LOCKED. I already backed-up the C: and E: partion. What i'm planning to is to reformat the HDD and start from a fresh HDD. I'm 100% sure i don't want any files that are on there and even so i can always replace them. After reformating the HDD WHAT should I do? I do have slayers auto installerv2.5 final and have bruned it into a working boot disk. Should i lock it first using Config magic or should i let slayer's insatll M$ dash 1012a700 first?

So for now my first question is after the format should i lock or install the M$ dash. Also if i wrote anything that i'm planning to do that is wrong thing to do, please correct me. I got to go to work soon so when i come back i hope to get some positive replys.

you will have to get an external switch to disable the chip

Then that should be all you need but i reccommend to leave the dashboard alone i don't if it matters but i just reccomend it.

I reccomend u lock your door so u dont need to buy another xbox.
