NERO and Pioneer 106D Freezup after burn

I have a Pioneer DVD RW 106D and the latest updated NERO Software 6.0.0.23. I used DVD Shrink to copy a DVD and dragged files into the window for burning. I proceeded with the burn with no problems. NERO copies the image to the disc with no problems, it's when NERO says it's 100% done with the burn I get a Freeze up. It seems that it wont say the process is done or eject the disc. Running XP I press control alt delete and try to end the process but to no avail. I have to reboot the computer and remove the disc that way.

The burn comes out fine.

Thanks for all your help!!!

Make sure that you have the latest ASPI driver on you PC. This could solve your problem :D

I run into similar situation: Pioneer DVR-A06U, Nero Express 5.5 (bundled with Pioneer DVD writer) recognizes it as "PIONEER DVD-RW DVR-106D". When burning a movie, the ending portion of the movie is not burned onto DVD+RW; while hard drive's LED light and Pioneer's LED lights both flashing endlessly even 10 minutes after the progress bar reaches 100%. sometimes have to cut off the power, otherwise Ctrl_Alt_Del can turn the PC off.
When playing back to the ending portion of the movie, the picture freezes on PC screen.

If use DVD-RW, set burning speed to 1x, it burns fine. DVD+RW has only one speed 2.4x, so always fails.
I downloaded the WNASPI32.DLL, in fact my Nero folder already has it, exactly same size 160016 bytes, so I don't bother to replace it.
I am using win2000.

Direwolf, what burning speed do you use, and is it a DVD+/- disc?
Any suggestions?
Thanks
