For some reason, my Xbox 360 wireless controller connected via play & charge cable won't install to my Pc
Well it installs... Or at least the driver does.
but it doesn't show up in the game controller list
And when I try to add ANY game controller, it says "Your Gameport of Gameport drivers are not configured, consult device manager"
Went on DM
Not there.
Anywhere.
Tried following the steps on http://support.microsoft.com/kb/306588 Couldn't since none of the files it asked to search for exist.
Help please?
i can read perfectly fine smarta$$, but what you listed is something that has nothing to do with using your wireless controller with your PC, what i linked you to is exactly what you need to do it.

There's been a driver made so that you can install the Xbox 360 wireless controller using the play and charge kit - my friend uses it and it works fine, but it doesn't work on mine. Also, I have googled and so has he, and nothing's that come has worked (as previously stated, even one of microsoft's solutions failed to work) - hence why I'm posting on this forums. Just goes to show
