MOBO means motherboard.
No. Don't you dare do that... Backup YOUR nand and when you brick(and tried Pandora and it doesn't work) then restore nand on your PSP and it will fix it. You can't give anyone else your nand and YOU can't take anyone else's nand or it's brick. You only use your own nand.

Probably because M33 wasn't even released in March.
Flash1 corruption can be created easily on 3.71M33(maybe the HX series too) and that's it. 3.52M33 can't cause flash1 corruption unless you messed with flash1. You were probably using the OE series' in March, and I've never heard of flash1 corruption on OE, unless you mess with flash1, of course. You shouldn't be messing with the FONT folder in 3.71M33, because that's the biggest trigger to pulling a brick in 3.71M33. So, my advise is to backup nand no matter what :)

Well, you can have a go, but if you open up your PSP, then I can't help because hardmodding is beyond my ability lol.

Yup but it will increase the value of the PSP in $100 in other words the PSP Motherboard will cost you $100... anyways I was hoping my friend could lend us his damaged PSP, but it seems that when we opened we found a BIG mess... the battery had leaked over the MOBO... now for instance if you go to Ebay buy a no power PSP and you might be able to get it to work... otherwise HARD MOd will be the only option for once and seconds I know NAND will not work... but anyways your PSP is already bricked, so try it... more than it is already bricked, you can not go, I know kikz said NO but do what it takes to test it... just one thing we are not responsible for what happens to the PSP, if you plan to fix it... I will do whatever it takes to do so... sorry Kikz I know you said do not try with someones elses NAND, but other than trhowing it to the trash, what other good solution can you provide him, a real working one? Tell me and tell him please...

But, be careful and find a guide on the Internet when you do this. It is very tricky, and many would say do not risk it and just buy another PSP on the whole.

I say do whatever it takes to fix it. I like when someone has something broken and I'm allowed to tinker. Sometimes it gets fixed and sometimes I'm left with a pile of screws and pieces of circuit board going in the trash, but in either case I'm no worse off than I was before.

True, but in this case, he may be left $100 out in the cold. I, personally, having no job, would go for the sure fix here. But, it's up to him/her to decide.

Point is, he is NOT buying the MOBO yet, so he is not loosing the extra $100, he might be loosing the value of the PSP, but would it be worth it? he wants to get his PSP fix, as I said, if he were me I will do anything to attempt the repair... its worth the try...

But, what I'm saying is if he tries and fails, which will cost him $100, he will have to buy another PSP, which will cost him another $200. If he wants a sure fix he should buy another PSP. But, if you are willing to risk $100, go for it.

Not right now, I am waiting for my Boss's PSPs to arrive, he bought a batch of 4 damage ones... so I hope one of them might need this repair :) *grind* keep in touch I am waiting for them just to test them, otherwise, I guess fixing a fixed psp might do my trick for the guide, I am asking a friend to lend us his working psp and attempt what I said, but I guess there will be no point on doing it anyways, keep in touch I got your PM so I will reply there... but try first the NAND and then post back.

His son demanded a PSP for christmas, and the greedy bast... instead of buying a new one for him, he decided to spend $200 on buying 4 Damaged PSPs from ebay and getting them repaired... cause he expects my peer and myself to supposly repair them and he expects to get 2 working good PSPs, sell a third one and the 4th make it for repairs... :S
