I made this thread for the newbies and for someone that are still running official sony firmware,using devhook and firmware emulation of 1.5 OFW..
To be able to get all the things as title says - U NEED A CUSTOM FIRMWARE RUNNING ON YOUR PSP
FOR PHAT PSP ONLY
If you are already on firmware 1.5 you can skip STEP 1.
STEP 1 - Downgrade your psp firmware

**I prefer the second point as it is the safest way(as long as you have extra psp with cfw installed)
Now that you have downgraded, to 1.5, on to STEP 2.
STEP 2 - Upgrade to Custom Firmware

For Phat - DONE, go on and enjoy. If u have any problems in playing your games, try THIS by myself OR THIS

The lowest firmware for slim is 3.60.

hi guys, need some help here.
I started off with a 1.50 firmware and installed the 3.52 m33 custom firmware as the guide had suggested. But i'm having trouble installing the m33-4 update because I don't have a GAME150 folder in my MS. Any help is appreciated.

well you can just create the GAME150 by yourself in the PSP folder or u can format your mem stick (through your psp) n the folders needed will be automatically created.

The best way isto format your memory stick...
but creating the folder yourself is also good but reformating is the best..

Can someone tell me how to update my psp from 2.60 firmware to 3.50. I have tried loads of things like putting the eboot update in the folder i make called update, then go to my psp and go to memory stick and it says corrupted data. Any help off anyone please. I have Lumines to downgrade to 1.50, thats what i am wantind firmware 1.50

DO you want to update to OFW or CFW?
