well well these firmwares just keep coming, sony has released 3.73 firmware :)
heres the info about it from qj net

"new official PlayStation Portable firmware 3.73. True enough, just moments after the thread was opened, Sony Computer Entertainment Japan has officially announced the said change.

As of now, we are still uncertain as to what extent this firmware will affect regular PSP users as well as those who use custom firmwares. The official Japanese official PlayStation website only has one changelog for FW 3.73:

PSP software-only play in the UMD loading screen to stop the symptoms has been confirmed for the UMD drive to improve operating stability.
Other PSP regions have yet to come up with their own versions of the PSP FW 3.73"

This is a pointless update but on sonys part they should (i hope they dont) create a new firmware every week or so. Think about it this will make it harder for people like Dark Alex because people will need to update to play the latest games. In one way i wish they would because then it would help reduce piracy = better games.
