I have "successfully" installed my WiiKey or I thought I had, initially no games would work, neither Original Wii discs or Gamecube discs, after checking my soldered joints and resoldering discovered one of them must have been a "dry joint" as my original games now play fine.......

My main question revolves around "backup" games, I have copied a game to a DVD-R and the tells me the disc cannot be read?
I have created a se 1.2 wiiKey setup disc and it also cannot be read?

If my WiiKey is installed correctly will it read original games properly???

What brand of DVDs do you use? What program do you use to burn?

Can you post a picture of your install?

Are you asking me? lol. I don't know if English is your first language but you don't have to put a ? after every sentence.

Try different media like Verbatim or Taiyo Yuden.

I successfully installed a wiikey on a d2b chipset. I had much difficulty installing it, mainly because i didnt have the correct equiptment. I had to resolder many times and at no point did my wii never read originals. Once i had everything nice and neat it would ready originals but not backups. I noticed i had 2 wires crossed. I corrected that and then it read backups no problem. I was never able to get the bootdisc to work. Not really sure why. But it plays backups and thats really all I want it to do. Check to make sure you dont have 2 points soldered together. By the way, I am using Philips DVD+R.
