Hey guys,

I have a Pioneer 112D. These should automatically bitset..so I burned an ISO in Nero at 4X (nero detected it as a dvd image) but I made a coaster out of it (unrecognized disk). Are there special techniques to burning iso's with this burner or special programs? Does Nero not work for 360 disks? Im using verbatim +R DL disks so I don't want to throw out too much money on coasters..

Thanks

I use Imgburn and burn mine at 2X (because my Verbatims have a 2.4X max) and works every time, try that man.

About the easiest it gets is with slysofts clonecd. If you download it you can try it out for 30 days. Load the dvd file and burn, it does the layer break for you. If you decide to buy it slysoft is a decent company to support.

Thanks guys,

I have everything setup right now as suggested by everyone (layer break, speed, software, etc). I even upgraded my burner firmware to the latest. I also have imgburn installed. Below is the info on the description field on the right hand side of imgburn...before I burn it, can someone verify if its correct and that it looks similar to the information on your scrreens:

The only thing im not sure about is booktype..shouldn't it be dvdrom?

i believe most of what you posted is just a read from the blank DVD+R DL you put in. as for the booktype...man, it's been in a while since i set that. from what i remember, and i did look it up on my pc, the choice i selected was something like "DVD+R DL", not "dvd-rom". maybe someone else can validate.
