Alright i have 3.71 installed on my psp with the 1.50 kernal addon. And im trying to get the newest ir shell to work (3.81). I put all the files in the write place. all of them go in the root except the boot file whioch goes in the game folder. When i go on my psp and click the icon under games it goes to the psp logo then the screen turns black. (wont boot at all) I read that you have to install it but i cant find out how to open the file i need to. (ms0:/IRSHELL/PATCH/3.71) do i have to get a program just to open that file or is there something im missing? All help is appreciated. thnx in advance

You need to have IRShell 3.80 and then install the patch or it won't work.

I do i have the full version. I tried the memory card with the ir shell files on my friends psp and it worked. so im guessing that i didnt install 1.50 kernal right.

Nevermind i got it to work. I think when i did the cleaner program it might of took out files i needed. Anyway i was wondering how do i get emulators to work? do i have to get a program to run the emulator or does ir shell do it? thnx
