I'm not sure if I understand the necessity of a Kreon drive. Do you only need it to rip games? Can you use any dl burner to actually do the burning? For instance, if I download my backup, can I burn the stealth game without a Kreon drive?
Right, like my Kreon Samsung drive can rip the games and then I use my non-Kreon DVD burner to burn the game. Any DVD burner (doesn't have to be flashed with Kreon) which burn the DL disks should all work. I tell you, copying your backups with a Samsung Kren drive is so easy, and so much simpler than any other method.
No problem John. Dude, I tell you man, I was trying all these drives to open and switch the original disk and it was such a pain, I got the Samsung 163A off E-bay, rip it with Schtrom, and burn with Imgburn, and it works great, best money I ever spent.
i agree, the Samsung drive was one of the first things i got after getting my 360. Worth every penny.
Plus your back upis will be the best quality you can get having been made from the origonal disc. No worries about what sort of shotty scene release you may get.
