I have been searching and searching for an easy way to put cfw on my PSP. I have the Daxter PSP Slim (silver) with 3.60. I have 1GB mem card and the one battery that came in the pack. Is there any way to get my PSP to run any cfw with what comes out of the Daxter Pack? If so please tell me what I have to do. I've been researching this downgrade and custom firmware thing for quite a while now but you could still definetly call me a newbie. Thanks for you help.

First, you have to make a Pandora's Battery: http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/580254

Remember this: when you're making one, choose the Desertar del Cemmenterio 3 option.

Once you're finished making the Pandora's Battery, run it on your PSP and it'll upgrade to 3.71 M33-2 automatically.

You could then update to the latest 3.71 M33-3 yourself.

after I convert the battery and upgrade to cfw, will I be able to convert that battery back into a regular battery?

Yes, all you have to do is while you're making teh Pandora's Battery, select an option called "Backup eeprom.bin". When you want to convert the battery back to normal, select the option called "Restore eeprom.bin".

Or if you don't have another CFW PSP, you can use this guide: http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/591203#3571746

I don't know, I never used this guide. Ask on the guide thread, many people will see your questions there and you'll get an answer in not much time.
