Hi guys.

I have a question for the Pros

Someone know if I can do somenthing inside the game Monster Hunter 2 .iso for play in multiplayer mode (USA version Vs Japan Version) ?
I have a problem here, I live in Japan , my kids can only read in Japanese, I don't understand anything in japanese. I wish to play monster hunter with my kids and i like to play with the USA version and him with the japanese version.
We cannot play in multiplayer because the game not recognise the japan version vs usa version.
I know the language is not the problem because we already play together the game Yu-Gi-Oh (USA vs JP) , when we play together my kid see my cards in japanese and I see his cards in english , very cool.
I don't know but, i think if I can change the region of USA version to JP or change the game ID we can play together.
Good solution too is remove the text file from the US version and patch the JP version . But the problem here is the Tool to use. I don't know any software to make this.
Any sugestion. With what software I can remove things from the iso, replace and rebuild the iso or change game region and ID?

Well you have a couple choices.

1 is doing what you said using "UMDGEN" I think that will work, I don't use much of that though so you might want to ask somebody,

Your second option if you have Custom Firmware you can download the game in English or Japanese, but that won't solve your problem of you liking to play on the English version, but it will probably work.

And last is to change your region version if you have Custom Firmware...Not sure if this will work but it's worth a try.

To get on Custom firmware just search AfterDawn for it.
And to switch the Language files in UMDGEN, again AfterDawn or Google or something.
