I have a PSP thats running 3.10 OE-A' and I would like to update it so that I can play some of the newer games. Is there a specific updater for that or easy instructions? I didn't install this one so I don't want to accidentally ruin my PSP by doing something wrong. Thanks in advance.

Thanks for the link but the program doesn't work, theres comments underneath where it wasn't loading for them either. Would any of the easy installers from there work? Or is there something special to look for compatibility with my OE-A' firmware?

There's an easy guide for installing the latest CFW: http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/569454

Don't think the 3.52 M33-4 part is a trick, you need 3.52 M33-4 in order to get to 3.71 M33-3, the latest and best CFW.

The safest and easiest way to go to the highest M33 firmware is by using a Pandora Battery + Magic Memory Stick. This guide HERE shows you how to do this which will install straight to 3.71 m33-2.

After you update to 3.71 M33-2 go HERE and download the 3.71 M33-3 update. This only takes a few seconds. Extract the download and drag the UPDATE folder to the /PSP/GAME folder and run the update via Game Menu Memory Stick.

-----------------------------------------------------

if you want to do this manually without a Pandora Battery then follow the steps below...

HERE is a guide to go from an OE version to 3.52 M33-4.

If you want the latest M33 firmware go HERE and follow this guide (3.52 m33-4 needs installed first).

Then go HERE and download the 3.71 M33-3 update. This only takes a few seconds. Extract the download and drag the UPDATE to the /PSP/GAME folder and run the update via Game Menu memory Stick.

Thank you both very much for the help, I was so worried I'd end up ruining the PSP if I tried it on my own but its running 3.72 M33-3 now and is fine. :)
