Hi Guys,
Im reading through the forums to see if I can flash my sons PSP slim to play backups,

My other son has a psp that came with pandoras battery and magic memory card so I figured I could use these?

But I have seen some old threads that suggest the 2.82 FW can not be done?

Can some one advise?

Well the only firmwares the PSP slim has are 3.60 and 3.71. You must use the Universal Unbricker 3 to get to CFW to play back-ups: http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/580254
