Can anyone help with my Wii update?

I have a UK Pal Wii firmware 3.1e with the WiiKit 1.9g
I get the message online update available so I accept
it but a message then says I have the latest version
after the online scan has finish.

I have also had an email saying there is an update available
on the Wii messages?

I put a PAL version of Mario Galaxy in and I get the message
to update.

So is 3.1e the latest version now 01/12/2007?

Why is Mario asking to update, the WIi bricking software
indicated I have a PAL version of the game
I have the same problem with Metroid Prime 3 it asks for
an update from the disk.

Thanks

metorid and mario both require updates for the games to run, make sure you games are "PAL" before you so much as even think of using the update, The updates just have files needed to run the games, its not a system update like the ones nintendo sends you emails about. to run mario though you will need to flash the wiikey with the newest 1.9g upgrade
