Should i upgrade to 3.71 m33-3 or remain in 3.52m33-4?

Because there is a game - "beats" - that needs 3.7 above firmware. But if i upgrade, do i lose the benefit of having kernel 1.5 and playstation emulator?

And also I heard alot about 3.71 m33 firmware that it can brick your PSP, and there are alot of bugs, is that true?

PSP (Jap)-> 1.5 -> 3.03OE-A -> 3.03OE-C -> 3.40OE-A -> 3.51m33-4 -> 3.71m33-4

Id suggest to upgrade to 3.71 m33-3. No you wont lose your 1.50 kernel (as long as you download the addon) and the Playstation Emulator is still in there. Most of the bugs have been fixed with the 3rd update so don't worry about that. The only thing that might affect your choice is that some plugins don't work on it, but most developers have made updates to be compatible with it.

N01NOob,

I think you are wrong, I had 3.71 M33-2 and I've never seen something that could cause a brick. The 3.71 M33-3 update was just to make 3.71 M33-2 equal to Sony's 3.72. The point is no one bricked on 3.71 M33-2 or M33-3. But there has been many bricks with 3.71 M33.
