Help playing Backup Games using ActionReplay MAX Evo

Hi! I have a Fat PS2 modded with MAtrix mod chip. I also have a backup copy of Action Replay Max Evo US ver3.3.

The backup copy of AR Max loads perfectly, however after it loads and I put up my backup game of (FFX), it says "Error Reading Disc." How do I get backup games to work with AR Max Evo?

My PS2 is modded already so I don't have any SWAPMAGIC discs.

Any help will be greatly appreciated.
