The root is the main section. It comes up first and it has the PSP, MP_ROOT, VIDEO folder and etc. For the explaining every step.. there are many many guides (In this very section even) to help you with making a pandora.

There's no way to downgrade from 3.72 without a Pandora Battery, sorry.

Like Marlino said, there's a lot of guides.

The root would be X:/
((X being the PSP drive number varies on your computer, mine is F:/))

So unless they find an exploit, which nobody is looking for, you can't downgrade, ask people if they will mail you the Pandora or make your own, I recommend the Pandora GUI.

i don't think there will be an exploit for a long time, because pandora's battery has become the official downgrader for 3.51+ firmware. sony is already patching up the exploits with future firmware, but pandora's battery can bypass that, since it reads from the memory stick ipl and not the flash0.

ps2: v7 scph-39001 - independence exploit - hdloader 0.8c - maxtor 300gb hdd
(+[__]%) psp slim ta-085v1: 6.60 PRO B10
wii (powered by bootmii/priiloader): 4.1u - d2x v10beta53-alt (base 56) - configurable usb loader v70r51/devolution r188 - wd scorpio black 7200rpm 320gig w/ ams venus ds2 enclosure

got a whole lot more to list . . .

Yeah, nobody is really looking for a downgrader.

Pandora isn't that difficult or risky, just back up everything and use the GUI.
