Interesting Results on Disc Burn Quality

So I am waiting for my WiiKey and Verbatim -R Media to show up. I have some Wii Isos and I decided to burn them on my Memorex -Rs and run the Nero Quality check on them.

First burn was at 2x with a quality score of 73

Second burn was at 4x with a slight increase of quality to 77 and that could obviously be just a slightly better disc.

Third I tried it at 8x, scanned and got a good scan at score of 90.

Fourth I tried a burn at 16x for fun and the score held steady at 93 all the way to the end of the scan then dropped to 40 with a ton of errors right at the end of scan. Not very good there.

Addition - So I try another 16x burn on a Wii iso and scan it with the nero quality tool. I get a score of 93, best score I have got thus far from all my burns ranging from 2x to 16x.

I know I would have to do many runs at the speeds to get a good result on how good the burns are but the results are interesting. It seems it does better as I increase the speed I get a better quality burn according to nero except the one 16 which was great up until the end of the disc.

Now I do not know if the nero quality score will go hand in hand with how well the discs work in the Wii but I guess I will see when the WiiKey gets here.
