1.There are alot Ubunta Linux which version is the right one.I will be using WiFi.

2.My purpose too get Ubunta is to download VLC media player to watch some of my torrent files in better Quality.Can i use it for this purpose.

3.I have some x264(HD)movie files i want to view also.

i dont think you can do that because high def movies require use of the rsx and we have that but you have to wait untill the hacker implement it in a more sutible manner.

I heard that you could view x264 files thur VLC media player?I guess i need to do more research on this.Can i add Window media player & view my XVID files on there ?

i dont know but i am 98% sure u cant do x264 in linux if u could it would proberly be choppy, unwatchable. But dont take my word for it! TRY IT!!!

p.s divx and xvid codec will be added in future updates so you could just wait

I CANNOT seem to get WIFI working on Feisty Fawn 7.04. Those kernal installing guides are way to technical for me I don't understand any of it. Basically make sure you get the version that comes with WIFI already working, unless your smart with that kind of stuff.
