do they only work on custom firmware? cuz i accidently upgraded mine to 3.52 instead of 3.52m33-4, and now its not letting me work, it says cannot play file.

Yes you need custom firmware installed to play emulators.

er.. got new question now, ive upgraded my psp to 3.52m33-4 and it can now play, and the gpsp works now, but there always a corrupted data when going on to mem card, any way to get that corrupt data off?

if You in CF, You can change preferences. To do so, You must push R button while booting up PSP unit. A lot of nice features also may be found inside. Read readme ;) file to be sure, are You acting right.

The corrupt data is normal. To hide it you can go into recovery menu as petr0id has explained (Hold R-Trigger button down while turning on the PSP).

Then go to configuration and enable the "Hide Corrupt Data option.

for gba there has always been this link cable function, is it possible to do it with wifi on the gpsp? if possible.. where is this connection?
like does it have multiplayer support?
