im lflashing my hitachi drive with ixtreme 1.3 soon, and i have the kreon disc drive and the pioneer 212d writer. I know how to rip an xbox game with xbox backup creator.
but i dont know how you 'stealth' a game or make it playable with live?
what do i do to the ISO to check its a good backup and is safe to play it on live?
well, xbox backup creator should stealth the game for you, and with ixtreme, if the game isnt stealth, it wont play. But if you really want to make sure, look for a program called xdvdmulleter. its easy to find, and will tell you if the iso for the game is stealthed.
ok, so basically, there is no middle man software that actually CHANGES the dumped 360 disc files?
if i use ixtreme 1.3 and rip my games with xbox backup creator, then jsut burn straight away with IMGBurn or similar program, it shuld work and be stealthed?
is there any other protection/things you do to a ripped disc before burning?
basically yes. ive always used xbox backup creator, then burned with imgburn, and never had any problems... when the last set of bans happened i went through and checked all my games, and all of them were fine, if you are using ixtreme 1.3, and xbox backup creator 2.7, you should be fine.
i wont garuntee it, i never will. cuz you never know what will happen.
