Im currently using 3.71 M33 and using Thriville and it comes with devhook with it but what happens if i start the devhook application?

i just ask because i want to know if it will brick my psp or anything

so can any one tell me what would happen would the devhook just work or will it mess things up as i have never used devhook before

sorry for such a newb question i just could not find a thread that answered anything similar

you don't even need devhook if you're on custom firmware. it's basically a firmware emulator used for people on 1.50. it can only go up to 3.11.

Yeah it wont work because your already on a custom firmware. Dont worry though, your not missing out on anything, Devhook is pretty much obsolete these days...Ohhh and dont worry about bricking your PSP. It will only brick when a program is writing to the flash of the PSP like downgraders and the other apps like that.

dont install device hook with a custom firmware

one of the steps to install device hook is "flash the files to flash 1"
if you do this you will probably semi brick
