im kinda confuse as to waat to do n a lil scare that my fat psp might get damage so please can u jus explain to me one time n finish how everything mus go

Why would he want to use GTA to downgrade a 2.71 official PSP? Just use the 2.71 downgrader that doesn't require a game exploit.

If your at 2.71 firmware you can downgrade without a game exploit. Just make sure your at 2.71 official firmware on the FAT PSP (Forget the SLIM at this time). If your firmware is lower then 2.71 then update to 2.71 official firmware. If your firmware is higher then you will need to use the GTA game exploit downgrader. But you said you had 2.7 firmware so I would assume it is 2.71 or below.
First off lets see what type of motherboard your PSP is.
To do this open the UMD Bay and look at the top right corner of the motherboard. You will either see nothing at all or there will be text there...
If there is text at the top right corner (look at the image above) then go HERE and follow the section under -2.71 PSP (TA-82 or TA-86).
If there is no text then go HERE and follow the section under -2.71 PSP.
After you have downgraded the FAT to 1.50 go HERE and follow the guide to install 3.52 M33 custom firmware.
After you have updated to 3.52 M33 firmware on the FAT go HERE and follow this guide to create a Pandora Battery + Magic memory Stick that will install 3.71 M33-2 onto your PSP SLIM (use your newly FAT custom firmware PSP to create the Pandora Battery + Magic memory Stick).
After you create the Pandora Battery and Magic Memory Stick place the Magic Memoory Stick into your PSP SLIM then place the Pandora Battery in it. This should bring up a menu that will give you the option to install 3.71 M33-2 onto your SLIM PSP.
I would also use the Pandora + Magic Memory Stick to update to 3.71 M33-2 onto your FAT PSP after you have installed it onto your PSP SLIM.
After you have installed 3.71 M33-2 onto your FAT and SLIM go HERE and download the 3.71 M33-3 update. All you need to do is extract the download and drag the UPDATE folder to the .PSP/GAME folder and run the update via Game Menu memory Stick.
You are now updated to 3.71 M33-3 custom firmware.

thanks.... now that that has happened i place games that i have download in ISO folder n then wen i go in the game n start up the game it jus say that game cannot start.. do u think i need to downgrade it back?
another thing is... the fat psp i have dont have the folder ISO that u place games in so where do i put download games?

No, au contraire, 3.71 M33 is the latest and best. Just check the guide I provided to make sure your ISO is good.
If after following the guide it still doesn't work, then your ISO is corrupted. You have to download it from another site (I suggest torrents).

Yes, 07anto07, you should provide the link for the 2.71 downgrader but, larrylje, many people get stuck on the red screen using teh 2.71 downgrader, including me. But still it's worth trying instead of buying GTA: Liberty City Stories or Lumines.

the firmware i provided a while ago was for my slim.... n its not playing the download games unless u have a UMD in it... but the fat one now dont have the ISO so as u said create it... wat mus i do to the Slim to let the games play independently?

Playing ISOs on Fat and Slim PSPs is the same process: create a ISO folder in the root of your PSP and place your ISOs there. If it doesn't show up or doesn't work, use the link I provided.

You should format the memory Stick after updating to 3.71 M33 so all new folder directories can be created.
Go HERE and follow this guide that BTFan has told you to do 3 times already to get your ISO/CSO games working.
Whats up with newbies not listen to what others tell them to do.

take time with me don.. i did that n its cool now.. now to my Fat that is runnin firmware 3.71 i tryna put the game on it n i create the ISO folder n drop the game in it n it say no games on the psp. "please" assist me.. i have two psp so thats y im dealing with it seperate

You can't just upgrade, you need Pandora's Battery. Use the guide I provided in my previous post.

You really need to read all the links we give you. I already linked above to a guide that shows you how to make a Pandora Battery + Magic Memory Stick. This also tells you how to recover the Battery back to normal.
What's the use of us helping you if you can't take the time to read what has been given to you.

i am in the process of the thing n place the pandora installer on the card n wen im runnin it now its sayin game cannot start

I understand the whole battery thing now n recovery... i read it in the thing above, but the prob now is that its no loading the pandora... the psp is a fat firmware 3.71 n i doin tat to run it in 3.71m33
i kinda catchin on to it guys but its this thing i dont understand.. assist me please

Just follow the same steps you took when adding 3.71 M33-2 to your PSP SLIM. You would have had to install 3.71 M33-2 from a Magic memory Stick + Pandora Battery. Well that can also be used to install 3.71 M33-2 onto your FAT as well using the same Magic Memory Stick + Pandora battery.
Plus I answered your question in the other thread about the Pandora Creator and the can not start game error. Stick with 1 thread and it wouldn't be so confusing.
