3.71 M33 3 ISO Ripping Issue

When I try to rip a game from my psp phat to my pc using usb mode, I get about half way then my psp tells me to please wait as it goes in and out of USB mode, then I get an error message and the download stops. Any clues or a good ripping program. any help would be great thanks.

i dunno about your problem but I use UMD Dax dumper

you can dump by usb but you need to setup usbhostfs

OK. I downloaded UMD DAX Dumper. Installed it, ran it. Then it says DUMPING UMD....but nothing happens. any thoughts??

are you trying to dump straight to your memory stick or to usb?

I got it...guess I should learn how to read directions a little better. Thanks for the help.

i tryed this before there is no way in playing the movies when u rip them

You can play ISO movies that you have ripped or downloaded if you have 3.52 M33 or 3.71 M33 (when using UMD DAX Dumper to rip the Movie choose ISO as the format to rip to).

Place the ISO movie file in the ms0:/ISO/VIDEO folder.

Make sure you have a UMD in the bay (Any type).

Now bring up the VSH menu by pressing HOME for 3.52 M33 or Select for 3.71 M33 and go down to ISO Video Mount and choose the ISO movie you want to watch. Now Exit the VSH Menu.

Now go to Video and select the movie in the list (It will be listed under UMD in the Video Selection).

After you are done watching the movie go back into the VSH menu then to ISO Video Mount and choose NONE to unmount the ISO.

For what purpose? Storage or playing them on a DVD player?

Storgae yes but...

I doubt it will work with a DVD Player. The video/file specs probably will be incompatible with a DVD player.

You can put it on dvd,but the only way you can do it is if you have the Sony official UMD tools.In order to get the official UMD tools is another story though,pretty much impossible unless you work for Sony or are affiliated with UMD production.
