I've been having this problem ever since I installed MozillaFirefox to this PC >.<. Basically, what I did was install Firefox, and then it said that I didn't have Adobe Flash Player installed (when I did). So I installed it anyway via the adobe site, and it's okay.
But Firefox considerably slows down the PC, so I had to uninstall it and go back to IE6. Problem is, whenever I open YouTube (that is, a new YouTube video), Windows Explorer will crash. It'll come out with this "Send or Don't Send Error Report" message, and once I click "Don't Send", the taskbar will disappear for about 20 seconds, but the windows I have open remain. And then, they'll just come back.
I'd leave it as it is, but this isn't my PC T_T... Anyone know what the problem is? Thanks in advance
Let's try a browser RESET. Follow this path: START> CONTROL PANEL> INTERNET OPTIONS> ADVANCED TAB> RESET INTERNET EXPLORER SETTINGS.
A few questions: Computer brand and model, WinXP SP2? Fully updated? Go to My COMPUTER> SEARCH> ALL FILES AND FOLDERS> ALL OR PART OF THE FILE NAME> TYPE FIREFOX, REMOVE ALL TRACES OF IT, DO THE SAME WITH MOZILLA. note: DO NOT INSTALL THIS IF YOU HAVE NOT FULLY UPDATED YOUR OPERATION SYSTEM! IF YOU HAVE, GO HERE: http://www.microsoft.com/windows/downloads/ie/getitnow.mspx AFTER THE INSTALL UPDATE WINDOWS, AGAIN.
Run a anti-virus scan with you Security Suite, and remove any problems. Run Disc Cleanup, and Disk Defragmenter. May have more, but do this stuff first.
