Fire Emblem US to JPN problem

I'm trying to play fire emblem US NTSC version on a Japanese wii with wiikey. Firmware is updated to 3.1J. The disc was patched with brickblocker and wiigion free to NTSC-J.

Heres the sitaution.

I popped the disc in. Wii is able to display the mini logo and startup button. So I start it up, it reads for about 2-3 seconds and then just hangs. the screen is blank. I cant power off unless i unplug the power cord but i could still eject the disc.

Is it caused by a wrong version -- cant play emblem NTSC-USA in japanese wii or it is caused by something else? I burned the disc using a DVD+R. Used the same type of dvd disc on other games and it works.

According to the Wii Region Patcher Compat List, Fire Emblem NTSC-U will lock-up on load regardless of using a WBB version of the game or not on your NTSC-J console. This means that it is one of the those cases where the import game is incompatible with your Wii. There isn't really a solution around it.
