PSP games run slow?

I have a PSP slim w/ M33 3.71 and yesterday my PSP games started running really slow almost like on a PC that has low memory. why would this happen, can it be fixed?

Press "Select" and choose the default CPU settings.

try changing the psp speed , press select on the xmb screen and change the speed to 333 , lete me know how you do

ok u just copied what i said...
dont do that, just choose default settings, then it'll work. dont change the cpu speed urself.

haha, sorry... i didnt realize your post was there, why choose deafault speed, if you are playing with cso then using default speed would slow things down, as it is in a compressed format i would recomend a 266 on xmb and 300 on iso/game. i have been trying out the default speed and running fifa 08 (cso) does not run smoothly.

I have FIFA 08 with default speed (I never changed the speed, never) and its working perfectly.

try going into multiplayer infasstructure mode , lobby --> select room --> ea messenger --> select a profile name --> send message --> L to chat = then you will find entering chat into the screen is slow :) ,, its because a lot of windows are opened aswell
otherwise the rest is fine, its just in some scenarios that this happens when a lot of windows are opened, what do you think?

I use EA Nation and of course messenger is slow because:
1) It's just a PSP
2) EA Messenger isn't as sophisticated as MSN Messenger, for example
And that's only a small part of the game.

stop double posting. anyhows on some of my games they are kind of slow and this might be either 1. Change ure cpu speed a bit higher
2 if that does not revolve the problem then it may be u have a fake memory stick like me. most games work for me expet for gta games which both run slow.
