I'm thinking about getting a xbox360 this winter (I live in Europe), and I definitely want to flasht he drive. Now I've been gathering some information, and from what I understand there are 3 types of drives:
* Hitachi * Toshiba/Samsung
* BenQ (elite)
and all of these can be modded. Now I also read that there is a special model number of the Hitachi drive that requires opening your xbox360 and (un)solder a chip, which I really don't want to do.
Now my question basically is, if I get a new x360, what do I need to know to guarantee that I can flashit without opening or soldering? Is there such a method? Maybe somebody can give me some more info, cause it's kind of overwhelming.
