I have just installed a aladdin xt+ into my xbox and when i boot it comes up with the normal xbox starting screen but it has "Evo X" in top left corner. it doesnt boot evox but it loads the normal microsoft dash. How do i get it to boot a new one???

yea i tryed xbox ultimate boot disc but it wouldnt boot. is it duppose to boot da normal dash wit my type of mod chip

You may need to flash the BIOS on the chip! I don't know about that sort of thing.

I've also never heard of the disc you named!

If you have the Evox icon on the flubber startup screen then the bios is already flashed, you probably just need to prepare the HDD and install a dashboard. Use the Slayers or AID 4.11 disk to do this. Make sure you burn it to a CD-RW or DVDr or RW, just not to CD-R, and that should do it. Read Chunkheads tut for more info.
