Dudes,
i got an error when tried playing my cso & iso games. my firmware is already 3.52 M33-4 and kernel 3.52. Pls advise what do you...thanks

In other words, put a UMD inside the PSP to run the game...
PSP (+[__]%): 2.80 < 1.50 > 3.40OE-A > 3.71M33-4 > 3.80m33-5 > 3.90m33-3 > 4.01m33-2 + 8gb MSPD

or go into recovery mode and select Sony NP9660 NO UMD for a driver which will let you play the game without a UMD in the Bay.
Go HERE for further instructions and steps you can try to get your ISO/CSO games working properly.

Go to the above link I provided and follow the guide to get them to work properly. If you do everything on the list and you still get an error then let us know.

I was having a problem like that, what I did was press home to go into my vsh menu and change the umd to m33. hope that helps

Sony NP9660 NO UMD driver is more compatible then the M33 NO UMD driver is.

What do you mean by more compatible? granted I have only tried about 10 games... but i have had no problems. But I should change it to the sony NP9660 NO UMD to avoid future conflicts? I appreciate the help.

You can choose whatevedriver you want. I am just saying the Sony NP9660 is the Sony driver and has the most compatibility when playing games that are ISO. You might come across some that the M33 driver can not run but Sony NP9660 will.

80020148 = PRX type unsupported (ie. you are trying to run a game froma higher FW than you have usually)
update to 3.71M33 CFW
and use the sony driver since only 2 games do not work no-UMD with it, but many more do not work with M33 driver.

What firmware are you? You should be on CFW 3.52 M33 -3 /4 to get it to work ... I don't know why but that's what I read..

Go HERE and use this guide to update to 3.71 M33-2 custom firmware (since your already at 3.52 M33-4 you can go directly to 3.71 M33 custom firmware).

Hi i am currently on 3.52 m33-3 Ive tried to update to m33-4, Ive followed all instructions, But when i try and update, i get game could not be started, Its realy anoying, Can someone please advise where im going wrong CHEERS

Make sure the M33-4 update is in the GAME150 folder.
If you have it in the GAME folder either drag it to the GAME150 folder or go into recovery mode and change the GAME kernel folder to 1.50.
