ok i was on the psp-hacks site[url=http://www.psp-hacks.com/page/8/][/url] and it sais sumthing about i can open up my psp slim battery to pandorize my battery bu i was reading here and i only saw the guide to the phat battery ive tried lookin more but no dice so im wondering if i do this with my psp slim battery can i finally upgraqde to the custom fw

NO, Slim battery is already patched to prevent it to become a pandora, you can do this with an OLD fat battery, cause some of the new ones are already patched.

You can Hardmod or Softmod a SLIM PSP Battery.

HERE is a program that will convert a SLIM to a Pandora Battery using the application.

HERE is a guide on how to HARDMOD a SLIM Battery into service mode.

A Pandora Battery is a service battery. With a Pandora Battery and a Magic memory Stick you can unbrick/install custom firmware to your PSP SLIM.

What is it your trying to accomplish?

Basiclly just tryna use iso on my psp i had a custom fw 3.03 bu i sold that psp and recently got the new starwars psp fw 3.60 if i knew i needed that old phat psp to do all this stuff i wouldant have so basilcy i jus wanna play iso and homebrew on my psp

You can use an easy installer to create the Magic Memory Stick and Hardmod your PSP Battery.

Use this easy installer HERE to install the files you need on the Magic Memory Stick.

Extract the file and select START to start the easy installer. When it gets to the part to select what type of Magic Memory Stick you want choose option 4 (universal unbricker V3) which will install custom firmware 3.71 M33-2.

When you are finished installing the files to the memory Stick Hardmod your battery using the site I linked to above.

Now place the Magic Memory Stick in your PSP and place the Hardmodded battery into it and follow the on screen instructions.

After you have installed 3.71 M33-2 to your SLIM PSP undo the Hardmod to get your battery back to normal.

After you have finished go HERE and follow the guide to get your ISO/CSO PSP game files playing properly.

ok i cant realli tell do i have to cut off the 2 legs or just one so far ive cut of one iu downloaded the easy installer and well it coems with a punch of folders im using winrar to open them i out in the one that sais slimpan.rar then i go to myh memory stick and i sais creat pandoras batter then it sais game connot be started 8002014c

Read the above mini-guide.

Does the guide above say to run slimpan.rar?

What is up with no one reading the guide.

It says to select the file that says START (START.exe) then follow the directions it gives.

ahhhhhh its pissing me off ok i do evreythign it sais it asks wat letter is my drive and i put f cus thats wat it is hen i choose the fourht option the one that givs u the universal unbricker and the 3.71 m33-2 and it seems lik evreything goes rite then it finishes i go to my memory stick it sais despertar del cementerio and pandoras battert creator and it has one corrupted data file i dotn understand wat im doign wrong i did evreythin it sais and yet it wont work i even checked my fw its still 3.60 :(

OMG your hopeless.

The easy installer installs the files for the Magic Memory Stick. It does not flash the firmware to the PSP. So the Easy installer is working perfectly fine.

YOU NOW NEED TO MAKE A PANDORA BATTERY!

Then use the Magic Memory Stick and Pandora Battery to install the 3.71 M33-2 custom firmware to the PSP.

You have 2 options to make a Pandora Battery.

Option 1: find a PSP that already has custom firmware 3.XX or higher on it (your official PSP SLIM can not run the application) so you can convert the battery to a Pandora Battery with this application HERE.

Option 2: Hardmod the Battery to a Pandora Battery using this guide HERE (no application is needed so you don't need a custom firmware if you use this option).

After creating the Pandora Battery place the Magic memory Stick in the PSP then place the Pandora battery in. The power LED will come on and the WIFI/Memory Stick led will flash and the menu will come up letting you install 3.71 M33-2 to your SLIM PSP.
