I need help on how to upgrade my psp to 3.71 M33-3, it is currently on 3.71 M33, i have downloaded the 3.71 M33-3 firmware from D Alex, i have extracted the files, update, seplugins and sdk, can anyone give me basic instructions to tell me what to do next.

the update folder goes into /PSP/GAME. and the seplugins folder goes into the root of the memory stick. the sdk folder isn't neccessary; used by developers.

once you get that set, go into the psp xmb. then go to game/memory stick. you'll see the update. run it; it only takes a minute to update, but always keep the psp plugged into the charger when updating.

When i click into the seplugins folder it has got a popsloader.prx file and a popsloader folder that i can click into and in that it has got a idcanager_old.prx file, do i just put the whole seplugins folder in the root?

yes, then you have to go to the recovery menu and enable the plugin.
thats for popsloader and is optional.
