My MS28 has been flashed to 1.3 I don't have the original drive key for it and it doesn't play any originals or back ups can I flash it back to another version of ixtreme or is the drive bricked?

Well if it won't play anything, then your key isn't inserted properly into the ixtreme fw. With no key, you have an expensive paperweight.

This is why everyone stresses making 5 backup copies of your key and to test your orig.bin file with FW Toolbox BEFORE flashing. These "idump, iflash, samhack, samread" methods DON'T tell you to check your key first.

Well, I guess you learned the hard way.

So what's the deal? Were you ever able to play a game after flashing? It'll still play movies without the right DVD key in there. If you don't have that key you are screwed as far as that 360 goes. It'll never be able to play games again unless someone figures out a way to extract the key from the motherboard and I wouldn't hold my breath on that.
