My opinion is the graphics didnt look to good but hey its only a trailer.
I just hope they dont try too hard and change what Gta3, Vice City and San Andreas was about and make the gameplay completely different.
It was rumored there will be no planes and helicopters :@ i saw a helicopter so im hoping there will be!
Only 3 trailers and no gameplay trailers so R* should be making one by now if it were to be released around march/april time. We need more than that!

true the graphics weren't trouser wettingly good, but its always been the game play that has made gta what it is and they will never change it just improve upon it.
also it still is a work in progress so the graphics could get better, plus we don't even know if they used the ps3 or 360 hardware to render the graphics or something completely different. lots of variables.

i liked the trailer is shows that it has a good story
i though the graphics in the background were good like
the bikes, cars, water, buildings ect... the caracters didn't look
great but the way they move is good

The reason there is no planes is because the city resembles new york and they dont want people renacting the 9/11 attacks. (so ive heard)

@Bg yeah because gameplay footage really let you know about the game and what to expect
@okthen- aww man that sucks, why dont they just let the plane blow up and not the building!, maybe its affecting the next-gen detail?
San andreas was all about the planes man

I don't think that they could really leave us without helicopters, right? Like that would just ruin my life, GTA is all about sandbox gameplay and heli and plane travel just completes that.

Yeah that plane training was kinda cool, arghh! its all about planes i remember playing on Gta Liberty city for hours trying to get into planes and helicopters, ended up finding the dodo and falling in the sea :| Im defo going to get it on Ps3 not 360 i want to hear the quiet cutscenes not the 360! What do you guys think i heard 360 will have downloadable content.

The graphic don't look that good but what concern me is Rockstar could have made another story other than this one.This is what disappoint me about this game.GTA in New York is really getting old.What about Japan,Texas,South America,Europe,Hawaii or Canada.I think Hawaii or Canada would have been great.They needed to give this game a different taste. I will buy it but i really think they missed out on making this game different & not the same old Crime in New York.

True I understand exactly what you mean. They have used Liberty City too many times and its getting old. Yeah its made to look like new york but still its based on a city we've been to twice already. And there isnt any planes on this game either. New York officials complained about the tall buildings and planes being in the game so i guess one of them had to go. But the thing i LIKED about R* was that that didnt care what anybody said. And thats (besides the gameplay) what made GTA so fun. It was there game and they could put whatever they want into it.

no planes in GTA is unusual but i mean imagine the good looking cars and motorcycles i mean the ones in the screenshots makes my mouth water but i feel that if they were going to cut the planes and helis...they shouldve made the map bigger than San Andreas cuz traveling around was the shit and in good looking graphics i don;t need planes...but i guess the map is staying just the way it is...

This was a pretty sweet trailer. But I agree with you guys, they NEED to show some gameplay. It's the third trailer and still we haven't really seen anything. Just cut scenes from the game and that doesn't show much besides the graphics.

I'll rent this one as I am getting very tired of the same old game rehashed in a different location (in this case not though) with the same kind of gameplay/style over and over with not much difference in each incarnation. Plus I am not happy with the graphics, it looks really really horrible...and for those that say graphics don't matter that is YOUR opinion not mine. Plus I mean it for actual better immersion into the game as well as improving gameplay not for being "pretty". If I wanted to own/play something that looks like it belongs on an previous gen console then I would rather play it on one. I really think this time around GTA was hindered (on a few different levels) because of it being multi-platform but we'll see when it is released how it truly is, hopefully R* can pull it off.

Liberty City Again? But only bigger right.........man this game could have really been something instead of reused concepts i guess GTA San Andreas Will be the best ever GTA hands down

whats wrong with liberty city. Sure its the usual scenery again (now next-gen of course) But GTA 3 was hailed as one of the best games of all time.
btw do you thing the next gta (after GTAIV ;D) will be in Vice City or a new location?

@Oner that opinion is harshly true, it looks like Goldeneye on N64 when they move their arms about.
I thought Gta 3 was the best and i dont think its liberty city identically i heard its New York which Liberty City was meant to be.
I hope the fact that its coming out for 360 doesnt make R* concentrate less on developing the game suiting each system i.e. COD4 OMDZ, they know on xbox 360 people can communicate by pressing the Xbox button but they didnt bother to give Psn users a message area like Rfom did. All Gta's were PS exclusives or timed excluvies so if this one flops we know that it would be down to it going multi-platform.

I doubt it will flop as there are way too many pre-teen and young teems that will flip over htis game no matter what...but I don't see it (as of right now) getting top notch reviews (if they are fair).

Not blamin u okthen12 but wth is up woth the not renacting the 9/11 i mean GTA is all about killin and destroyin whoever told u that is just weird.
Part from that i think it looks pretty good but the graphics of the people dnt really live up to the next gen experience but well see its only a trailer (sry its so long lol).
